Never heard of them.. I do remember a number of years ago there was a group called New Kids On The Block.
I wonder if these are a new group called New Kids On The Take?

Hi Keith given the amount of times timeshare owners have been caught out it is no wonder that there is always a certain amount of skepticism that is viewed when ever a fairly new company is launched. It appears that ITRA formed this company around a year ago and they have employed qualified Legal lawyers called M1 they started off by calling themselves European Claims Chamber to use the same ECC branding they renamed to European Claims Centre.

We now may see a glimmer of hope for people with timeshare who wish to part with them with confidence .I hope this will be the case . If this is the case perhaps they could be our first good guys. but only time will tell

What amazes me the most is that some of these developers have had a more than goodly living for the last 30 years out of their customers yet they continue to treat them so poorly and are still trying to take advantage of them at every chance they get.
Some of them have the morals of monkeys!

https://timesharetaskforce.org/2019/...regarding-ecc/ I think that this means BEWARE

              https://www.asa.org.uk/rulings/europ...16-334571.html

It seems that ECC have come to the attention of the ASA and found to be guilty of misleading advertising.

**The internet is the place where you can do your homework to find our more about who you are dealing with on matters around who is who in the get you out of timeshare market. It is easy and just a few minutes can save you a fortune and a red face.

It seems that ECC and TCA are in some way linked as the same chat person is usually available to speak to you on both sites. Some information on the TCA blogs is useful but it seems to be usually around the activities of others who are questionable with the motives for their existence. Personally I would not wish to become embroiled, even in a chat, with any organisation on the internet who has a questionable past and a less than transparent presence.

                  Further to above.
Today there is a blog on the TCA website about refunds from travel companies, airlines etc .
                  https://timeshareconsumerassociation...imeshare-news/

It goes on to say they are doing a survey with timeshare users, not about the above, as you would expect after writing such a long piece on the matter.
No. The survey is about Management Fees in the Timeshare Industry.

TCA has just launched their 2020 Timeshare Management Fee survey. “We are asking as many people as possible to complete it and all you need to do is go to the website xxxxxxxx and register. Says someone called Charles Drummond - Moray.

It also goes on to suggest that you may like to look at 4 other websites, who they seem to suggest, to be giving this survey some credibility via "Timeshare owners body aims to get money back."
One of these websites they list as being investegate.co.uk Personally I would put little faith in anything coming out of a website who cannot spell their own web name investigate correctly.

Now there are those cynics who would suggest that somehow the registrants would magically find themselves at some future and not too distant a time, being cold called or emailed by ECC who still seem to be using the identical people to chat with you whichever of the sites TCA or ECC that you click on. This use of the same Chat contact seems to suggest that currently there is a strong link between these two organisations. Which if there is they should declare it openly.
Some could also come to think that TCA who call themselves Timeshare Consumer Association are not a consumer organisation but merely a feed for just another timeshare release organisation.

If we are to take notice of organisations then I for one would not wish them to have a chequered past ie being linked with ITRA or having fallen foul of the ASA and being found guilty in the past of misleading advertising.

Investegate or Investigate at your own risk!
