What is Timeshare?

Let’s start by introducing myself! I have very little experience with Timeshare, I am a technical person who was asked by the owners of this Timeshare forum to help them launch.

I was introduced to Charlie1 over 6 years ago, our kids went to the same nursery and had the same swimming lesson, this in turn lead to meeting up at kid’s parties.

This is when I started to learn about Timeshare, I like thousands of others had the impression that you only owned a Timeshare if you were one of those unlucky ones who fell for the sales pitch.

Charlie1 is extremely knowledgeable on this subject, whilst chatting to him I started to understand the perks of Timeshare and it all started to make a whole lot of sense.

What is Timeshare?

Timeshare isn’t a new idea it has been around for the last 50 years, attracting over 7 million people around the world, accessing over 5,000 resorts. With those statistics it's surprising to learn that only a few resorts have issues. As with most things in life the loudest people are the ones who dislike or don’t understand the workings, the happy ones quietly enjoy and learn more.

Timeshare works well for those who learn how to use it and it has some great benefits. One of the best is the ability to exchange your week/points for other holidays worldwide. Many timeshare users enjoy this benefit as it opens up the idea to book holidays to new destinations, you don’t have to go back to the same resort year on year.

Before I learnt the basics from Charlie1 I always thought, why would I want to book the same week every year to the same resort? This benefit changes this misconception completely and Charlie1 and Mavo have written some great guides on the timeshare forum about how to make best use of this benefit.

Timeshare owners who work the system end up with more holidays than they own. Bonus weeks are one of timeshares greatest secrets again more guides will soon be available to help our registered users to access and benefit from the exchange facilities.

Timeshare apartments are renowned for being of good quality, offering excellent facilities and service at a good price.
Timeshares are more than just a hotel, they have been built with home comforts in mind. Spacious self-catering accommodation can sleep up to 10 people equipped with DVD’s, cable, TV and Wi-Fi.

Most timeshare owners treat their apartment as their home with added extras. Resorts have lots of activities available such as tennis, swimming, golf and sailing, skiing, boating and even fishing. You can therefore personalise your holidays to suit your hobbies.

Lets just think, where can you get access to top quality apartments from as little as £130 per weeks holiday, as an extra weeks holiday beyond the timeshare you own?
